I've raised £5000 to help the families and a charity Simon dobbin Owen Colman Ryan smith foundation....

We are delighted to say we are going ahead with Simon dobbin family day 2 in 2019. As you all are aware Simon suffered life changing injuries as a result of an attack after a Southend vs Cambridge united game in 2015. His family and Simon have suffered through this ordeal and in may we gave him and his family a day when ex pros from all
Over came together to show support for Simon and his family. Simon suffered severe brain damage and his and his families lives have been changed drastically. Recently diy sos have been in to transform their home so that Simon and themselves can have more family time, also for it to be fit for their and Simons needs.
This time we are helping two other causes in the process and one is the Ryan smith foundation. Ryan suffered severe brain injuries in a cycling accident in July 2013 when he was struck by a van on a narrow road in Lincolnshire – an accident which could not have been avoided. Ryan didn’t want to mess his hair up by wearing a cycling helmet – something which could have lessened his brain injuries.
Since his accident, Ryan’s family set up the Ryan Smith foundation, a registered charity which promotes cycle helmet safety awareness in schools and petitions to make cycle helmets compulsory. All money raised by the Foundation is used to assist those with brain injuries and their families, and promote cycle helmet safety awareness.
The other is a family that helped Simon and his family on their diy sos build. Owen Coleman who is 12 has cerebral palsy and after seeing his dad help put on Simons build Nicole wanted to give something back and since the tragic events to Simon, this family and Ryan smith foundation have helped Simon, Nicole and Emily with support and help when needed. comes out. But thank you for looking and supporting.
