I've raised £250 to Project 3580 (https://youtu.be/ypazc2fI_18)

This year I am running my first Marathon! The International Birmingham Marathon, on October 15th. I have been running for many years now but I have never felt brave enough to enter myself into a whole 26.2 miles of running! Until now.
To encourage me to do the miles (and miles!) of training that is required to become a Marathon runner I decided I need a purpose. I need to be running for something that I won't give up on, something that I feel passionately about and that will drive me to that 26.2 mile finish line. Working with children has always been a passion of mine and seeing them achieve and succeed in life is one of the greatest feelings in the world!
I have decided to run for a non-profitable charity called: Project 3580.
An old friend, Neil Morland, who used to work at Deans school (Great Barr Secondary School) is the founder of Project 3580 and set up this charity. He has done so much work already for this project, fundraising and actual hands on work, that he has inspired me to look further afield when it comes to giving children opportunities.
The projects main aim is to help improve the Education and Health care of young children based in Sierra Leone. This Project has helped give these children opportunity. They have built a school purely from donations, so the children can have an education and are in the process of building a medical center so that better health care and hygiene is available.
I am going to try and raise as much money as I can, to contribute towards Project 3580. So please, if you wish to sponsor my Marathon run in October (to give me more of a reason to push myself to the max, to the finish line!) any donation will make a lot of difference!
