Cut a long story short.... i need a car. I just do! I know there are people out there who struggle without, but here it is. Im a single mummy to two young gorgeous girls. Two years ago i separated from my husband and had to start over.... i was forced to trawl the streets in the snow with my babies in a double buggy. I also have a heart condition.... a heart attack at age 28 means i struggle physically to walk long distances. A typical day for me is this....
Walk the girls to nursery, walk home, walk to work, walk to the supermarket, walk back to nursery with bags of shopping then walk back home with two tired toddlers who both want me to carry them. Its exhausting. I saved up and bought myself a banger which has been great, however a few months ago it failed its MOT and i had to admit defeat and SORN the vehicle as i just couldnt afford the repairs.
Also, my mum lives in South Wales, a 5 hour drive away and she is really the only support i have. Im trapped not being able to get to her.... especially for Christmas. So although i know in the grand scheme of things i am very lucky with my lot (a roof over my head, healthy children etc) i cant cope with the thought of another winter dragging my babies through the streets and missing seeing my family. Friends advised me to ask on here, i feel cheeky but needs must for the sake of my health and sanity! Can you spare a £1?? Id be grateful beyond words. Much love guys.
