We are trying to raise funds for my dad who has mnd/Lyme disease and is on a ventilator he is totally parlazed and he's stuck in the icu and has been for 6 months due to the ccg won't give him care at home but he has full chc funding .my dad just wants to come home and The ccg have wasted 6 months of his life ,we don't know how long my dad has left but we do know that he wants to carry on fighting as much as he can and wants to come home with his family and enjoy what life he dose have left .we have been fighting the ccg since September 2017 when my dad was left with no care and my self and partner was looking after him 24hrs day with no help or support for 3 months then he ended up getting sepsis and had to go into the icu for treatment and has been ready for discharge since January but the ccg isn't allowing him home so we are trying to raise funds to be able to get dad home while we fight for care but we need to raise fair bit of money as a weeks is care is £8000 for a nurse 24 hrs a day .my dad was at home for a year and he was doing amazing well but since being in the icu he has gone down fast due to all the stress etc but getting him home will make his life Easyer and also he can be with his family and friends again .icu is no life for any one as my dad spent 2 years in there before .hes open to infections and the hospital have said they won't treat him so I really need help to get him home so I need to raise as much funds as I can to be able to do this and while he's at home I can carry on fighting for his care .
