I've raised £2000 to support online singing classes for people suffering from lung disease.

Singing has long been recognised to improve lung function.
Members of 3 community choirs: Hackney Voices, The Feel Goods and The Mudlarks have learned an original song - Until We Meet Again - written and arranged by Cleo Lane and recorded it to raise funds for 2 online Singing For Lung Health (SFLH) Groups based in central London to fund this work for one year.
These Groups are: Singing For Your Life based in Newby Place Health Centre, Poplar and Singing For Breathing based in The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel - both affiliated to the British Lung Foundation.
Members of these groups suffer from serious and debilitating lung diseases. These groups not only provide a source of breathing exercise and an uplifting weekly experience for participants but they have also become a place of friendship, support, love and connection.
Since the arrival of Covid 19, members of these groups have experienced increased feelings of isolation, anxiety and depression. Online singing groups offer a life line, something to look forward to every week, a constant support in a constantly changing landscape. Unfortunately there is currently no large scale funding for these groups and we have to rely on fundraising projects like these to keep the groups alive.
Please give what you can to ensure that we can keep these wonderful groups going. Thank you for your support.
