Story

Siobhan spent her life putting others first and herself last, was kind, compassionate, loving, funny, talented, inspirational and a listening and supportive ear to so many. Entirely altruistic. There are simply no words descriptive enough to explain how much she loved and was loved in return and our lives can never be the same. Our oxygen has disappeared and the world is bleak and cold. Siobhan was passionate about helping others in need, particularly animals and children and hated any form of abuse or suffering. In one way or another we would very much like to continue Siobhan's legacy which is why we have created - https://www.glasgowchildrenshospitalcharity.org/about-us/news/400-siobhans-legacy-of-love

"This year, thanks to the generous fundraising efforts of Siobhan’s Legacy of Love, GCHC has funded hippotherapy sessions for 11 children & young people. We would like to share our heartfelt thanks with the family & friends of Siobhan Cattigan, who continue to provide funding for hippotherapy sessions after a year of incredible fundraising in memory of Siobhan. Hippotherapy combines Siobhan’s love of children & animals and caring for others, and these sessions have ensured that her legacy continues to shine brightly at the children’s hospital"

From Glasgow Children's Charity... "Two families have this week been referred and granted funding for hippotherapy (both ten week blocks) thanks to your incredible donation. I appreciate that it can never take away the pain of losing Siobhan, but please do know that children and families affected by ill health are truly thankful for your support"

Have just read David Walsh’s article in The Sunday Times. Heartbreaking and infuriating. The SRU should be ashamed. An independent inquiry MUST take place.

David Walsh’s latest article again shows how the SRU has treated, and continues to treat, Siobhan’s memory and her family. As before I have cried. Thoughts and prayers to her family and partner. X
