I'm raising £750 for a community project.
On the 18th April at 1pm at Farley hill we’re hosting a 5-a-side football tournament with the aim of raising money for two fantastic community projects.
All funds raised will be split between the Royal British Legion local food bank and the Arborfield Aces youth football team benevolent fund. Both play an important role in supporting people in our community, from families in need to young players who love the game.
Our goal is simple: to give back to the community while enjoying a great day of football. Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference — thank you so much for your support
Siren FC was born two years ago from a simple idea: a group of employees at Siren Craft Brew wanted to enter a 5-a-side Tournament in Basingstoke.
What started as a casual conversation quickly turned into something real. Back then, we were just seven people trying to organise ourselves, borrow kits, and make sure we had enough players to get through a match. It wasn’t about silverware or stats — it was about getting on the pitch together after work, representing something we were proud of, and enjoying the game.
From those early evenings under the lights in Basingstoke, the team began to grow.
Over the past two years, Siren FC has played more than 10 games and tournaments, testing ourselves against new teams and pushing our limits each time we step onto the pitch.
Today, we are 45 people strong.
What began as a small group of colleagues has become a full community. Siren FC is now about inclusion, opportunity, and connection. It’s about giving everyone a chance to play, compete, and be part of something that brings people together beyond the workplace.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come — from seven teammates trying to fill a squad sheet to a growing football family representing Siren Craft Brew on and off the pitch.
