I've raised £500 to remember former SJN pupil Adam Simms

On Friday 21st May we received the devastating news that , former pupil (now in Year 13 at North Lindsey College) Adam Simms tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident on Mortal Ash Hill.
Many staff remember Adam as being a shining light in the school with a real passion and talent for sport in particular.
The Sir John Nelthorpe School community would like to come together and raise funds to go to a charity of Adam’s family’s choice.
'10 for Tigger'
Adam was affectionately referred to as 'Tigger' by many staff, owing to his incredible zest for life and 'bouncy' personality (quite literally) as per the A. A. Milne character depicted in the Winnie the Pooh stories.
In an effort to engage the whole school community in something positive and as a means to raise as much money as possible in Adam's memory, SJN are taking on a '10 for Tigger' campaign. In this, everyone is encouraged to identify a physical activity based around the number 10. For example:
10 press-ups or sit-ups etc a day for 10 days to raise £10
10 km walk or run to raise £10
10 consecutive days of any physical activity to raise £10
A number of our staff have already competed in ‘The Normanby Hall Adventure Race’ which was a very tough obstacle course staged over a distance of 10km.
