Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last Christmas, our beloved family dog Fene passed away after 17 long and wonderful years with our family. He was named after our Aunt Josephine, who we lost before he came into our lives, and he carried that name with so much love and mischief.
Fene was a Patterdale terrier mix with a huge personality. As a puppy he was cheeky and mischievous, he tempered out in his many years with us and as an older dog he grew clever but never lost that sense of cheek! Throughout his whole life he loved cuddles, food, and being at the heart of our family. Saying goodbye was incredibly hard, and having to put him to sleep was one of the most distressing moments we’ve faced. But we feel grateful for all the memories, love, and joy he gave us.
My sisters and I want raise money for Blue Cross, a charity that helps sick, injured, and homeless pets. They support countless families and animals through the difficult time of losing a pet.
On October 12th, we are taking on the challenge of hiking Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain. It will be a tough climb, but every step will be in memory of Fene and for all the pets who need care, love, and a safe home.
Our goal is to raise £150 for Blue Cross. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference for animals and the families who love them.
Thank you for helping us keep Fene’s memory alive while supporting such an important cause🐾
