    Story

This year we are raising Money for Lings Bar Hospital in memory of Joyce Green who sadly passed away with advance dementia and terminal cancer.

Lings Bar hospital specialise in rehabilitation, recovery or ongoing assessment to older adults, mainly over the age of 65, after a stay in hospital

They have beds for patients who need to keep their weight off a fractured limbs or who are less mobile, they provide further rehabilitation so that patients can go home safely and manage the care needed. They also, in certain circumstances provide end of life care to patients.

Throughout her stay, it was evident that Joyce was in the best hands. The nursing staff were very caring and nothing was too much trouble and they provided lots of family support.
