Story

Please support our SkyDiving Team for Inclusion.

They are raising money for our vital work and strategic plan. All of these steps will lead to real employment for a real wage for disabled people. A real wage increases self-esteem and respect and economic power for disabled people which non-disabled people take for granted. Please help us to make this situation more equal. SkyDive Up-date:

All a bit on a downer this morning, Sunday 4th of September.

GoSkyDive postponed our event today due to a bad weather forecast. Our team is now booked to do the skydive on Sunday 25th of September!

We are very pleased to be working with Toucan Diversity Training in the delivery of our disability awareness training to staff. The Toucan team are highly professional and knowledgeable in this area and the feedback from the staff attending has been very positive, rating highly both the delivery and content of the training provided.” – Dave Small University of Portsmouth, Equality & Diversity Manager.

We are super proud to introduce you to our Team:

George Griffiths

Update: George would like to thank everyone for the fantastic donations and support. Unfortunately, George has been advised not to jump by his GP however he will be supporting his Skydiving Team on the of 25th September. He has taken on the task of the official Toucan photographer!

George was a great family friend of Toucan’s Founder Madissa and is an experienced fundraiser. He helped Metoo ( now skylarks ) by tossing the coin at Wimbledon . He took part in the Rickshaw challenge raising a huge amount for BBC Children in Need. George also wrote and directed a musical that raised money for the Down’s syndrome Association. Last year he did the Spinnaker Tower Abseil for Toucan Diversity and raised a massive amount of funds for her Legacy. He is in the process of becoming a trainer for Toucan.

Henry Napier-Brown

Henry is George's big brother and a friend of Toucan Diversity. He took part in a 12hr fundraising walk last year for Alzheimer's Society and has made various films for different causes over the last 10 years. He and George make a strong team when it comes to causing mischief, eating too much pizza, and most importantly - fundraising. They're excited to see how much they can raise for this brilliant organisation. Watching his far braver brother scale the Spinnaker Tower last year made him extremely glad to be on the ground. He hates heights, he's scared of flying, so naturally, he can't wait to throw himself out of a small plane at 10,000ft.

Pari Asgari

Hi, I am Madissa's sister, the founder of Toucan Diversity. I regretfully accept to jump for her and her ethos.

Madissa experienced disability discrimination when applying for jobs and this made her even more determined to set up Toucan Diversity Training, not just for herself but also to create job opportunities for other disabled people. She wanted to change that. At Toucan, they are committed to providing essential disability equality training for any business. This is what I am jumping for!!

Joe Edmondson

Joe is a friend of both Henry and George and although he comes with both a fear of heights and flying he has jumped at the chance to conquer both of these with one stone whilst raising a lot of money for this incredible cause! He’s also looking forward to making new friends on the jump and hopes to live to tell the tale!

Morgan Davies

I believe in equal opportunities for disabled people and hope that the money raised will continue Madissa's work. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to take the jump for Toucan Diversity.
