Story
Toucan Diversity Training CIC was founded in 2013 by Madissa Asgari, BA (Hons), MA, a disabled woman with a diverse ethnic background who faced significant disability discrimination in the job market. Determined to create opportunities not only for herself but also for other disabled people, Madissa established Toucan Diversity Training CIC to face these challenges head-on.
Toucan Diversity is committed to delivering disability equality training and is proudly led by our team of disabled people. We are a CPD-accredited training provider based in Portsmouth, dedicated to promoting the social inclusion of disabled people, one training session at a time.

This June I am sky diving for Toucan Diversity, a CIC that means so much to me and my family.
My older brother has autism and sotos syndrome, which can make everyday life very challenging. Eight years ago, he couldn’t be left at home alone or cross the road by himself, but now he lives in assisted living, travels independently and works for Hilton Hotels. His dream ever since he was little was to be independent and with the help from his amazing support network, he has been able to achieve this dream, making him into the happiest and most confident version of himself. I am so incredibly proud of everything my brother has achieved, but none of this would’ve been possible without the life changing support we have received.
I am not only doing this to give back for the support that has helped my family, but also to raise awareness that every disabled person deserves the same opportunities, independence and inclusion.
Please support me if you can. Thank you

Last year I took on one of my fears and abseiled for Toucan Diversity, this year I’m taking on a new challenge by skydiving for Toucan Diversity because disability inclusion is personal to me. Having seen the barriers my own family has faced; I want to support a disabled-led team that uses lived experience to create real change. Your donation helps them break down those obstacles and build a world where everyone truly belongs.
Your support means a lot to me. Thank you

As both a Personal Trainer and a Firefighter, I am driven by pushing limits, building resilience, and supporting causes that matter.
Taking on this skydive challenge allows me to confront one of the biggest challenges I've always wanted to achieve, this is always inspired me from afar. More importantly, it's an oportunity to raise vital funds and awareness for Toucan Diversity, a cause dedicated to inclusion and support for others.
This challenge represents stepping outside my comfort zone, leading by example, and turning fear into purpose for something bigger than myself.
Your support is very much appreciated. Thank you
Meet Ronnie

I started volunteering for Toucan Diversity in 2024, and since then it has been an inspiring journey to support the important work they do towards inclusion for all. Last year, I took part in the abseiling challenge and truly enjoyed the experience — the height, the wind, the beautiful views of Portsmouth Harbour, and the excitement of pushing myself to try something new. What felt like a challenge became something positive, meaningful, and unforgettable.
This year, I’m challenging myself once again by taking on a skydive in June. It’s another exciting personal challenge, and I want to show that stepping outside our comfort zones can be turned into something great when it’s for a good cause. By doing what we can, we can raise awareness, help others, and make a positive impact.
Please support me if you can.
