Story

Milly was my first true friend and University, as we both sat on the bus heading in to our first day, we both tremendously failed at netball trials before she dragged my sorry butt off to Lacrosse trials, despite never playing before, she gave me all the positivity, help and motivation needed and I have never looked back since.

Last September my beautiful friend Milly was involved in a terrible accident which saw her electrocuted with 750 volts passing through her body. Milly fought for her life, and survived, but unfortunately lost her leg (which coincidentally also was what saved her!) along with several other injuries. Her life has completely changed from the simplest things like her shoe size going from a 7.5 to a 4, to her having to completely learn how to walk and stand again After already learning to walk once Milly has recently had another surgery where she has had to return to her wheelchair, and she will be learning to walk AGAIN. If that's not inspirational I don't know what is.

The money raised will aid this beautiful girl to continue in her road to recovery and aid her to get back to inspiring, motivating and fighting again.

Something like this really makes you reflect on how much in life we really do take for granted and I cannot put into words how strong this beautiful girl has been, how much courage she has shown, and how inspirational she is. Where many people would put their head down she has raised it up. If anyone deserves a donation she really does!
