MMARAP stands for Mixed Martial Arts for Reform and Progression. They are a small charity based in Islington, that provide martial arts and self defence training for those with disabilities and children from underprivileged backgrounds.
I passionately believe we should live in an inclusive world. A world of acceptance and opportunity for all. The wonderful people at MMARAP offer just that, to the most vulnerable in our community. Regardless of ability or background, everybody is welcomed and accepted and everybody has the chance to learn.
The safe and empowering environment that MMARAP have created needs celebrating, so on the 15th July, I will be jumping out of a plane at the GB Skydiving Centre in Peterborough to raise vital funds for them. This money will help to ensure they can continue providing their very important service to the local community.
I know times are tough for us all right now but I would really appreciate your support, however small or little. We need to protect these amazing charities like MMARAP doing amazing things for amazing people.
