Next Summer I plan to take on the Atlas Mountains Trek Challenge with Bristol RAG for the amazing mental health charity Mind. Mental Health is a serious issue which affects 1 in 4 people every year; unfortunately the funding and awareness isn't available to tackle the scale of the problem and as a result many suffer in silence. In the past year my eyes have really been opened to the lack of services available for those suffering from mental health problems as I have supported close friends through very low points. I have witnessed people trying to get help and being told waiting lists for counselling services are months long... prioritising mental health needs to happen! Mind has already done an incredible amount to change the perception of mental health and implement campaigns and services and they need all the support they can get!

Mind try to raise awareness and lobby to improve services, as well as providing direct support for those in need. I am running a half marathon in March in order to fundraise for this trekking challenge, so any donations for this wonderful charity would be so so appreciated. This is an issue that affects most people in some respect, so please give if you can:)
