The Striders 72-hour Charity Relay Challenge returns! We are fundraising for two local causes:

- 50% will be donated to The Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team. As with all UK MR teams, HVMR are a charity supported solely by donations. https://holmevalleymrt.org.uk/

- 50% will be donated to Slaithwaite Cricket & Bowling Club's fundraising campaign to invest in a new boiler, so that the club can remain open and serving our community. More details about their situation can be found on their Facebook Page here.

Starting on Thursday 2nd April at 7pm, our whole club will run together for the first hour. Our goal is then to have Striders circling the village continuously for the next 72 hours, until 7pm Sunday 5th April.

We'd also like to invite members of the public to join us for a group walk around the village on Saturday 4th at 11am, and a group litter pick on Sunday 5th at 11am.
