Sleeping Beauties provide bespoke handmade Bereavement items to families who have sadly lost a baby.
Supplying hospitals, charities, funeral homes and families in the community, all over the UK.
During COVID services were still in demand, and donations continued to come in, quickly running out of space.
The community have been amazing in making donations of all kinds to enable us to turn a small piece of our family garden into a sanctuary for our memorial butterflies.
But we continue to grow, as does our memorial gardens and now we have a 2nd space for when families can begin to visit again. This growth has also lead to us running out of storage space for the donations that continue to come in.
Currently due to covid, all stock is in 2 separate places, when we are able to come together, we simply won't have the room indoors.
The point of this years big fundraiser is to be able to purchase not just a 'shed but a space where we can see visiting families away from our busy family home.
This is such an overwhelmingly emotional time for a family, that having this extra space will give them time and space to process what is happening, this is the best thing we can sometimes offer, and hopefully this fundraiser will allow us to do this.
The ground works have already begun, but much help is needed in the purchasing of bespoke 'shed for the job.
