We are raising £50,000 for the Raise the Roof project at Stewarts & Lloyds RFC.

Stewarts & Lloyds Rugby Football Club (S&L RFC) is a long-established community club in Corby, offering inclusive sporting and social opportunities for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. In recent years, we have invested over £20,000 in replacing our external floodlighting with energy-efficient LEDs, alongside further energy saving investments in upgrading our changing rooms to be gender-neutral and accessible. These improvements have enhanced our facilities and reduced our environmental impact

The Raising the Roof project is the next step in our sustainability journey — installing solar panels on the clubhouse roof to generate clean, renewable energy. This will lower our electricity costs, cut carbon emissions, and allow us to reinvest savings into our youth, women’s, and community wellbeing programmes. The project will also act as a visible example of local climate action, engaging schools and community groups in learning about renewable energy and supporting a greener, more resilient future for Corby
