I've raised £500 to SLV Global - India

I've been lucky enough to be chosen as part of a team of young people embarking on a Psychology program in India next year. This amazing opportunity will give me the chance to work with some of the leading clinical psychologists and neuroscientists in India, learning about how ancient Eastern techniques (such as yoga, Ayurveda, meditation and mindfulness) can compliment traditional Western approaches to mental health treatment.
There is a lot of work to be done regarding the way we treat mental health, and this program offers a step forward. Any donations will go to a great cause, funding the learning and development of this generation of mental health professionals, working towards a more global, collaborative approach to mental health treatment.
I've worked hard to get a place, and am so lucky to have been chosen, but the program isn't cheap. I am working part-time in a bar to raise money to fund this trip, whenever I am not studying or in University. However, living as a student in Brighton is not cheap, and I could use all the help and donations I can get.
Any money donated will go towards the group organising the program (SLV Global) who are working towards improving the way we learn about, view and treat mental illness in the 21st century,.
If you're passionate about improving mental health treatment, or just want to support me as I embark on this amazing program, please donate. Any donation, big or small, will be really appreciated.
Thank you!
