I'm raising £10000 to support young minds in our community by giving them access to free mental health therapy.

Story

At Smalls, for the last 4 years we've been creating a new, simpler way for young people aged 16–18 to access free mental health therapy — no long waits, no confusion, and no one slipping through the cracks.

The Problem:

Right now, too many young people are getting stuck in the gap between

CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services) and

AMHS (Adult Mental Health Services).

They need help — but can’t always get it at the right time.

Our Solution:

We’re working with GPs and therapists to create a direct referral pathway.

Young people can be referred straight from their GP to free therapy sessions.

Simple. Fast. Stigma-free.

Your Support Can Help Us:

- Ease pressure on CAMHS by offering an alternative pathway

- Fully fund therapy sessions for young people aged 16–18

- Simplify access to mental health support

- Run local events to raise awareness and reduce stigma

- Launch a youth mentoring programme to build a stronger community

- We’re not replacing what exists — we’re strengthening it, so no one falls through the cracks.

🤝 Why We Became a CIC:

When Smls was founded, we wanted it to be something the community could believe in and build together.

That’s why we became a Community Interest Company (CIC) — a not-for-profit model that puts young people first.

Being a CIC means we’re:

- Community-led

- Governed by an independent regulator

- Transparent about how we use your support
