I've raised £7500 to Help Smoo Cave Tours survive!

Smoo Cave tours operates in Durness, Sutherland. It is a Scottish historic monument and is part of a Unesco world heritage site. I run the inner cave tours via a rubber raft allowing the public access to the water fall chamber and beyond. These tours also fund my winter digging, exploring Smoo cave and the Durness area looking for undiscovered caves.
My aim has always been to keep ticket prices as low as possible so that everyone can enjoy the magical experience of entering a cave with a stunning waterfall. It truly is a memroable once in a life time experience!
Unfortunately due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic I have been unable to run any tours and I am currently receiving no government grants.
With no income since Oct 2019 Smoo Cave Tours has been unable to operate.
All donations will guarantee Smoo Cave Tours presence in the cave once the lockdown has finally eased. Boat tours may not be possible inside the inner cave, although I will be on hand to answer any questions and give tours/explanations about the 3 different cave sections.
Your donations will also ensure digging towards the elusive hidden chamber continues.
I'm still in the cave daily ensuring the cave is kept spotlessly clean, so that when the lockdown is finally lifted I am ready to welcome you back.
If you would like to see any recent photos of the cave during these unprecedented times then please logon to my website at smoocavetours.weebly.com and click on latest news.
Please let me take this opportunity to thank you for all your help and support at this difficult time.
