Story
On Sunday, September 29th, we’ll embark on a 10 km walk, starting in Snaith and finishing at the Black Dog in Carlton. Our purpose? To raise funds for our vibrant drama group.
Curious about where all the money raised will go? Let me share the backstage secret: It’ll
PUSS NEEDS BOOTS - £200.
Puss himself requires quite a special 2 part costume- one that works for when he is a poor old pet cat but then will transform into the fully clothed ‘Puss in Boots’ costume later on. Fur fabrics are expensive. So are custom fitted animal headpieces. Not to mention a lovely hat, and the boots that give Puss his name. £200 will allow us to create a Puss costume worthy of any professional show
PUSSYCAT, PUSSYCAT WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I’VE BEEN TO LONDON TO VISIT THE QUEEN - £500
With an additional £300 not only will we be able to create an amazing costume for Puss himself, we’ll also be able to create a whole new set of chorus costumes for our ensemble so that the scenes set in the royal court really do have a touch of regal splendor.
DING DONG BELL, PUSSY’S IN THE WELL! - £600
With an extra £100 we’ll be able to afford the paint and materials needed to construct a magical wishing well. The well will complete the picturesque scenery needed for the exterior of the country cottage which is home to our hero Daniel and his faithful feline friend Puss.
