I've raised £3000 to support Lucy's Pineapple Fund by walking up Snowdon (some of us several times!) to help fund treatment for Lucy

Lucy Moroney is a 9 year old girl from the Wirral who, in July 2017, was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour.
You can find out more about Lucy's story on:

As if Lucy's diagnosis isn't horrific enough for the family, in 2012, Lucy's mum, Nicola, sadly died from sudden cardiac arrest at just 33 years old. Lucy was just 4 at the time and her little sister Amy was almost 2. Nicola was also pregnant at the time with Lucy and Amy's little sister, Ruby, who was born by c-section at 24 weeks, during Nicola's attempted resuscitation. Ruby lived for 14 hours but sadly also passed away on 25th January 2012, in her Father's arms.
Lucy’s condition is terminal, but there is ground breaking treatment in Mexico which has the potential of increasing her life expectancy and giving her and her family more time to enjoy precious moments together – something we all take for granted. The procedure costs £300k.
We want to contribute to this and are aiming to raise £3,000 by running, walking or even crawling up Snowdon to raise money for her treatment.
To encourage people and companies they work for to put their hands in their pockets we are doing something a little difficult for Lucy. A group of us are going to try to reach the summit of Snowdon 3 times in the same day, we may run, walk or crawl!
Others participating and are going to try and climb the mountain once or twice….everyone is welcome.
Weather permitting; we will be starting at 5am on Saturday 23rd September 2017. We will finish….well when we finish!
The primary objective is to raise as much money as possible to help extend Lucy’s life. In doing so, we are asking as many Friends, Family, Clients and Suppliers to participate and/or sponsor.
We are after your support, which could be in the form of yourself joining the challenge, giving motivation and/or personal/corporate sponsorship.
