I've raised £5000 to Pay for vets bills, repair a collapsed roof in the cattery, build an additional cattery and stock up the food for all the animals

Meet Rebel,
Rebel went into the care of Socelex after a call from the local council. Neglected, living in incredibly poor conditions and who's matting had become so bad that it was weighing him down, giving him joint problems. His paws completely encased along with years of nail growth and in need of surgery to remove rotten and infected teeth. The vets bill for Rebel is increasing exponentially......but sadly this is one case of many at Socelex.
Currently in the care of Socelex are around 30 cats and dogs along with sheep, ferrets, hedgehogs and more. All of them given the care and love they deserve.
Socelex sanctuary has been run for 50 years by two incredible people along with some volunteers. I cannot begin to tell how much these two do all day, every day. All the costs of vet bills, food, supplies, repairs and the general running costs of the sanctuary are all paid from either generous donations from the public or from their own pockets (a state pension and a part time supermarket job)
With your help, we are hoping to raise around £5000. This money will be used for paying off the vets bills, repairing a collapsed roof in one of the catteries and towards the general running costs.
Anything you can give will so much appreciated.
On behalf of Socelex and all those in their care now and in the near future, thank you
