The Future Ancestors Project is a social impact initiative designed to nurture, share and preserve the stories of today’s Black creatives. In an era where people are seeking deeper connections to heritage, this initiative will create vital spaces, leveraging technology to encourage and facilitate that journey.

We aim to create powerful, community-driven cultural spaces that not only brings communities together but also makes art more accessible to the public by educating them on new forms of art introduced by technological advancement.

This knowledge will provide them with new and more accessible ways of experiencing art e.g through digital art, virtual exhibitions, augmented reality, e.t.c

The Core Vision

The central idea behind this initiative is to showcase contemporary artists as "Future Ancestors", the cultural leaders of today whose work will inform and inspire generations to come. We want to encourage inter-generational conversations and to create a digital archive of the stories, art and biographies of the artists of today, to inform & inspire future generations.

We will highlight a new wave of Black creatives who are using technology not just as a tool but as a medium to tell stories of heritage, tradition and cultural identity. One of the goals is to make art more accessible to the community by leveraging technology to create immersive experiences that can be accessed across the globe.

The project will serve as a bridge between the wisdom of the past and the innovations of the future, making art more community oriented.
