Story

The school is a Day and boarding secondary school of 250 students, some of whom are orphaned and its located on an island on Lake Victoria, which is not connected to the National Electricity grid, yet light is needed in classrooms during prep studies, dormitories, outdoor security, Laboratory, School office and for charging phones for the school's administrative staff and teachers.

The Pearl of Africa Children's Choir members are Currently studying and Training from here.

Phase Two:
Badly needed is a Solar Water Pump System at our Vocational High school to support the schools agricultural and farming water requirements and programs which will empower the school and the community with necessary skills by farming through IRRIGATION to quench the drought and famine that tortures our country at large.

Through Irrigation we shall be able to grow both food and cash crops throughout the year. By so doing the school will become more self reliant and with a Green House Vegetable & Fruits, trees and flower seedlings will be possible to get high Quality foods so that we can feed our orphans, students staff and sell some as an Income Stream.

Secondly, the SOLAR water pump will help the students to have shower for bathing and flush toilets for better hygiene.

Bunjakko island is one of the remote areas in Uganda, and most of these students come from a poor background, thus the school can't raise funds to be able to acquire the necessary solar equipment to cater for the so needed solar power and lighting.

We are grateful and appreciate all the support, time and concern towards this cause.

May God Bless You.

Thank You.
