We are hosting a Quiz Night to bring together local businesses, Club members and supporters in celebration of women’s sport and to raise vital funds for our Club’s development.

Just 18 months ago, Solent Women’s Ice Hockey was a single team. Today, we are proud to be a fully established club with two teams and a clear vision for the future.

Our league team, the Solent Amazons, has had its most successful season yet, finishing 3rd in the league and winning the WNIHL Division 2 Cup South. Alongside them, our newly formed development team, the Solent Valkyries, completed its first full season, providing a vital pathway to the Amazons and a space for women and girls to enjoy the sport at any level.

This growth is exciting and in demand, but it comes with significant costs.

As we expand, so do our needs. More ice time, more equipment, more coaching, and more support. Ice time is highly competitive and expensive, and ensuring both teams have adequate training opportunities is a constant challenge. We are also working to build a full player pathway, including an Under-16 team and links to the WNIHL Elite, so we can nurture talent from grassroots to the highest levels.

We are seeking support from others who share our passion for sport, community, and opportunity. There are multiple options to show your support and to help us continue to grow, empower more women and girls through ice hockey, and build a sustainable future for the club.
