Story

So Lets Walk- 24 peaks in 24 hours

To raise awareness & resources for mental health issues in hospitality, we are challenging a crack team of industry leaders to compete in a walk with a difference!

Last year, we walked 10 peaks in 10 hours and raised over £6.5k for So Lets Talk! This year we are stepping it up a notch...

The A team of 20 people will then be scaling the 24 peaks of the Lake District in a target time of 24 hours!

Target times:-

Day 1 = 12 hours / Can be up to 14 hours

Day 2 = 9-10 hours

Combined up to 24 hours

Day 1 - Distance = 28km / Ascent = 2500m / 10peaks:-

Red Pike, High Stile, High Crag, Haystacks, Great Gable, Scafell Pike, Broad Crag, Great End, Esk Pike and Bowfell

Day 2 - Distance = 23km / Ascent = 1750m/ 14peaks:-

Red Screes, Dove Crag, Hart Crag, Fairfield, Seat Sandal, Dollywaggon Pike, Nethermost Pike, Helvellyn, Lower Man, Whiteside, Raise, Stybarrow Dodd, Watson Dodd and Great Dodd

This challenge is designed to push the boundaries both physically & mentally whilst raising awareness of the mental, physical and financial health of those in hospitality. Hopefully inspiring people to make the changes they may be seeking in their lives.

The funds will be donated to So Lets Talk Hospitality Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation that provides holistic and preventative sessions for the hospitality industry and much more.

Help us if you can by sharing and donating.

Thank you,
