Story
Visit our website Since its foundation in 1997 Solidarity holds its meetings at the Quaker Meeting House in Wandsworth. This building with its historic features and prime location has enabled Solidarity to establish the group and to start several services for the community it serves. However, with the large number of people attending our weekly meetings and benefiting from our services, we felt that it is time to find a bigger place to hold our meetings.
For that reason, the group has decided to get onto the property ladder to have another source of income to help us to pay for a rent for a larger place where we can accommodate the growing number of people.
This is why we began the project "Solidarity House". We have started a series of micro fundraising events to add to our existing savings (check our accounts here) so we can buy our "Solidarity House". With a bigger space we will be able to accommodate more people and to expand our existing services.
