Story
I am Segen Ghebrekidan, I am a mum and I dedicate my time to fundraising for the local communities to have access to Public Control Bleeding Kits and the cabinets. I unfortunately lost my son due to knife crime in Brixton in 2019, despite the emergency services trying their hardest, which is what spurred me to look into how to help my community as well as others to have a fighting chance to reach hospital at minimum.
I, and other bereaved mother's, are endeavouring to add to the 2 cabinets and 9 bleeding control kits within the UK. So far 8 lives have been saved but we are hoping with your help we can reduce knife crime and bring safety to our communities worldwide.
The kits contain everything a paramedic/law enforcement officer would have to save a life especially the kits for bleeding control. The kits contain critical care elements that will allow any member of the public to aid in saving the victims life.
We need the support and money from all kind souls near and far to make this country safer and bring A+E/Urgent Care departments some much needed help to reduce the loss of life.
