Story
Alnmouth Community Rowing is an active coastal rowing club on the coast of Northumberland. To celebrate our 10th anniversary we are raising funds for our local lifeboat which is based just down the coast at Amble. On June 15th and 16th 2023 we will be rowing non stop for 24 hours to raise funds. Crews will row in shifts throughout the challenge, and we will have at least one boat on the water at all times.

1 year agoMany thanks to all the supporters who have made this fund raising possible. We at ACR did the rowing, enjoyed the wonders of nature and got a real sense of achievement at the end. We will be handing over all the monies raised to the RNLI in Amble as soon as it can be arranged. If you missed the chance to give via our page please go direct to the RNLI to make a donation

1 year agoJust in case anyone supporting us hasn't heard .... yes we did do it! The best 24hr weather/sea combination you could imagine, plenty of sea life including a very active pod of dolphins, hundreds of puffins. The light late at night and early in the morning was something special. Many thanks to all of you who have supported this effort for the RNLI in Amble!
