Story
Our park is in need of a long awaited facelift. Our current Playarea is tired, old & in areas unsafe to play on.
Back in 2014 we formed a friends group to help secure funding for a new Playarea. companies were asked to come up with a design for the new playarea so we carried out consultations in the community and voted for our favourite.
The total cost of the playarea is 80k and so far we have around 30k for existing funds for the park & the Tesco bags for life which we came second.
We have applied for a number of grants for funding but have been unsuccessful.
We would really love a new & safe playarea for our children so we didn't have to keep travelling to other successful parks.

7 years agoWow!!!!!!!!! Mega exciting news! ❤️💫🚀 Our latest funding bid was successful and although we didn't get the full amount we applied for, VIRIDOR did award us £25k! Along with the funds we have already secured and the crowdfunding from you generous lot that means we have about 53k of the 80k we need to build the new play area! Amazing or what? We are so very close now!!!! 26k needed!
