My name is Sonia Bellamy am aged 37 and live in Wales im swansea from a young aged i just loved fashion I would explore with my grandma clothes.... You will think grandma but she was very elegant & petite & small little feet she had so many high heels different colours it used to fascinate me.
Iwas so close with her my grandad was a Fisher men so he was always away so i would stay with her a lot.
Myblove of Fashion has always been in me, but more than I year ago my husband and i thought about a creative idea and thought why don't we explore our own business, we wanted it to be authentic and different, we called it L&S UniQue it's our names Leon and Sonia but UniQue represents the clothing we sell which is unique, funky, the latest trends, with styles for elegant occasions, weddings, date nights girls lunching And many more.
Our aim was to sell mens clothing & womens but due to money and set backs we have only been able to afford women's.
Since last January every wage day I would buy a little extra and I would buy from wholesale company's 8 packs which was definitely going to make profit,
I would be so excited seeing everything come together.
But myself & my husband are very hard workers and willing to put our minds & efforts to anything, but really we had no marketing skills & promoting Skills but we was determined as we new we couldn't afford to pay someone to do these things.
I even designed my own logo and recently been working with vista print to make the website.
We even done the photography
We took photo's of the models which will represent L&S UniQue.
We have been so excited to get the website going we had our Launch party in March, which was lovely and elegance but I did learn from mistakes and wish i had swolled my pride and asks some people to help.
We done everything from the setting up the tables to chair covers to center piece to flower arrangements to setting up the clothes and rails it was a lot for 2 people to do.
We told our friends & family it won't be long now and things will be ready to go live.
I feel so burned with anxiety as i know this is such a wonderful vision and I don't want to just let all our hard work go.
The real set back has been awful and
To be honest we really struggling my husband was in a car crash on the 5th of June.
He has lost his job as he has been off for weeks and his company had to let him go,
We was little upset as we had doctors advice & paper saying he was not fit for work so we assumed this would cover him, but his boss just Feel they need to get someone to do his job.

We really felt hurt as we needed to be sensible until we seen an income from L&S UniQue, we new we had to be realistic and let my husband keep working to be bills & for more stock to make the buisness work.

I have so much respect for people who start a business as its so much of your time and effort more than people know, i feel hurt & embarrassed as I have been telling friends family & followers on Facebook it won't be long now get ready to shop.

But i still need to get tags packaging i still have to pay money to My storage where my stock is keep.
We still need to get flyers ans we still need to spend an extra 2 - 3000 on stock.

I feel blessed i have this vision i feel blessed i have found amazing stock through fabulous wholesale in the uk
I felt blessed I had came up with our ideas for the logo for the packaging....
And i just don't want ti through this away this is my passion this has been my focus and my dream for over 1yr 8 months and I would be devastated to see this not blossom like its meant to.
God gives us vision and this is who I am fashion is in my dna.

We have been so excited to share our Buisness.
We just want to explore This journey that we know is meant for us & is right for us.
This makes us smile we both love Fashion & we want to make a success of this.
We want to make people feel good in what they ware.

We want to tell people if you have a vision explore it.

We have waited until we are older to explore This i am 37 and my husband is 35 but we really do not want to through all our hard work away that we have created over the last year.
We have so much fantastic ideas my husband has his own design for a clothing buisness which will be added to L&S UniQue later along the way which explore.
but we need the platform of L&S UniQue before we can establish anything
