Hiya Guys

I planning on travelling to Sangam, in India, to join their Community Volunteer Programme and help with one of there amazing Women focused projects.

I'm not sure what project I will be working on yet but it could be anything from

- Teaching women new skills so that they can grow a business

- Teaching women about the help and support available in the event of Domestic abuse

- Teaching Brothers, Sons and Fathers about the consquences of domestic abuse

- Running a mobile creche so that mothers can go to work and help provide for their families

I have been lucky enough to be involved in Guiding in the UK. I have been a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and now I work as a Guide Leader trying to recreate my experiences for the next generation.

These programmes are run by guiding in India to help women have the opportunities to reach there maximum potential. I am so excited to to travel out there and try and help these women take advantage of some of the amazing opportunities I have had in my life.

In order to travel out there I will need to pay for the cost of my travel, visa's vaccinations and travel insurance. As well as the cost of my room and board whilst I am out there. Which is why I am hoping to fundraise towards some of the cost.

I know that these are incredible projects, and I am sure that lots of people will want to help as much as I do. So I would really apreaciate it if you could donate any amount to help me get out there and start helping these women and girls.

Guiding has given me so many amazing memories, I cannot wait to share my experiences (and get some new ones) with guides and women in India.
