Story
My name is Marlie-Rae, I am 6yrs old and attend Falcons Gymnastics Academy, Gymnastics means alot to me as I suffer with Social Anxiety as well as sensory processing disorder, Gymnastics helps me leave the house, to feel like me, to be free and it keeps my anxiety at bay, without gymnastics I become quiet, I rarely speak to people and I have to find other ways to keep my anxiety at bay... I practice as hard as I can at home praying for the day our club can reopen and so I have been raising money for my local gymnastics club... Falcons Gymnastics Academy for new equipment, since I have started funding we have experienced 3 lockdowns, it's not easy training at home and I'm hoping to get back into the gym as soon as possible. As well as much needed equipment we are now in need of foam due to a problem occuring with the foam pit causing a lot of damage resulting in the foam having to be disposed of.
Last year I manage to raise an impressive £600 which is nowhere near what they need, I would love to try and raise as much as I can before our gymnastics club opens again.
**Edited the below as we started out at doing 12 miles a day 1 day a week every week but now we have rough guidelines of the return we can put a better plan in place, so the new details are below**
There are potentially 47 days left until our club opens if they return on the 12th April, I am going to go out every day unless it is really wet, if I average around 10 miles a day that is 470 miles by the time we go back. Being sensible though I'm going to aim for 200 miles allowing for the wet days to be my rest days and if I do over 200 then I'll be happy 😊 my last ride will be April 11th.

3 years agoSo... My mum and Elise went out to do their 100 mile ride but it was cut short at 72 miles due to a puncture whi h could not be fixed no matter how hard they tried. However they will be going out later to do the final 30 miles and will redo the whole 100 miles in the Autumn... Look at the hills they conquered 💖
