I'm raising £1500 to Help Bill get his mobility scooter back after senseless vandalism

Story

A single act of vandalism has taken away far more than a mobility scooter.

Bill is living with Parkinson’s disease, and his mobility scooter wasn’t a luxury—it was his independence. It allowed him to get to the shops, attend appointments, see family and friends, and remain an active part of his community despite the daily challenges of Parkinson’s.

Recently, Bill’s scooter was deliberately set on fire and burned beyond repair. To make matters even harder, his insurance company has declined his claim because the scooter was parked outside his home at the time. In an instant, he has been left without the freedom that so many of us take for granted.

We’re hoping to raise enough money to replace Bill’s scooter as quickly as possible. Every donation, no matter how small, will help restore his independence, confidence, and quality of life. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page with others would mean just as much.

Thank you for taking the time to read Bill’s story and for any support you can offer. Together, we can help him get back on the move and show that kindness can overcome even the most senseless acts of vandalism.
