After a long journey trying (and trying again!) to find the right spot on Bower Lane for a defibrillator, I wanted to share a really positive update. Although that location didn’t work out in the end, something even better has come from it. I connected with Eaton Bray Tennis Club, just nearby, who were already fundraising for a defibrillator to support the many people using the surrounding parks and sports areas. So now, all the money raised – along with the incredibly kind donation of a defibrillator from Debbie Gilbey – will go towards a housing unit and its future maintenance at the tennis club. I’m so pleased it’s found the right home and will be there for the whole community to benefit from ❤️ thank you all for your kindness and generosity it may one day save a life x
