My daughter Sophie is 8 years old and passionate about gymnastics. She has worked really hard so far and in the last 6 weeks has doubled her skills training at the Rushmore Gymnastic Acadamy. Her dream and goal is to be able to get onto the squad team and compete at a high level.

Recently I spoke with Sophie’s trainer and she said that Sophie is very determined and at a great age to teach. She has the ability to acheieve her dream and the next step is to increase her hours of training.

The money raised here will pay for the whole years training and I am working hard to help contribute to the fees and also additional things she will need like transport, uniform etc and your help would make such a difference to her life.

When I was 19 I left the UK to serve as a missionary and help families and children in the slums of Brazil. Fast forward me and my husband have been in missions for 12 years working with abandonned children with HIV, young pregnant teenagers, and boys from the slums through a football training project that helps keep them in education and off the streets away from drugs and violence. We worked alongside the charity Youth With A Mission YWAM.

For family reasons we had to return to the Uk and are working hard at getting ourselves set up. My husband is a hard worker and is trying to learn English which is very hard for him having learning disablilities. This has hindered the type of jobs he can get here despite his great work ethics and skills and why our income is currently not able to stretch to pay for Sophie‘s fees. I am also working part time self employed around looking after my two children 8 and 5 years old to help as much as I can.

Sophie is prepared and ready to put all the hard work in if we can get the money together to pay for the fee’s, any help you can give is very welcome and we really appreciate your support and love for Sophie.
