Story

Hello! As many of you will know, I've been acting for many years now and have recently been looking to study at drama school. After months of auditions, long waits for emails and midnight train journeys, I have been offered a place at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

This is one of the worlds most prestigious drama schools and I am beyond thrilled to have accepted my place. However, the school is not linked to a university and there is absolute zero government funding available. Not a penny. Which means that I have to muster up £8000 in course fees alone - although this does sound extortionate I cannot emphasise how incredible the school is and that the money will be put to good use. Drama school is NOT the same as university, I will be in the studios 35 hours a week and will be constantly rehearsing and performing.

In order to secure my place I have to cough up £5500 by the 1st of July. This doesn't even take into account the cost of living in London, which is looking like it's going to cost at least £600 a month. So, as you've probably gathered, I've created this page in the hope that I will be able to gather some of my funding - otherwise I simply won't be able to go! I'm currently working 45 hours a week and doing my absolute best to gather as much as I can but realistically, I can't fund it all myself. If anyone fancies helping me out, has enjoyed a performance of mine and wishes to show their support, or just wants a mention in my Oscar acceptance speech absolutely ANY donation would be massively appreciated.

Thank you to all of you who have been so supportive through the audition process, and thank you in advance for any donations!
