Hey guys!

In January 2019 I will be volunteering in Sri Lanka to help teach English in schools, pre-schools and after-school clubs as part of a six week programme. During my time in Sri Lanka, I will also be helping to restore classrooms and provide facilities for children in need.

Education is highly accessible for all children in the UK, with most children having the privilege to attend school or an educational setting of some kind. However, in Sri Lanka this opportunity is sparse and not always available for children. I will be offering my time through volunteering as a English teacher to provide extra opportunities that will hopefully improve their lives now and also their futures.

Travelteer is a registered charity that gives communities and children the opportunity for a better education and start in life. All the funds are raised by volunteers, and the proceeds will go to charity. By donating you will be directly helping to restore classrooms and to provide resources for children in need.
