What is crowdfunding?

Story

In 2018, I will be going on a three week trip to Nepal with the charity World Challenge. The trip will involve a community project in a remote Himalayan village - most likely working in a school and helping to rebuild people's homes. The only way to access the village is via a five day trek through the mountains.
