Hi! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

As many of you probably already know, as part of my nursing degree, I am going to Vietnam between 4th and 19th August to experience nursing in Hue. I am hoping (although I'm still waiting for confirmation!) to be based in the emergency department for one week and the traditional medicine department for another, which remains an important source of treatment there.

I've chosen to organise this through a company called Work the World, who offer placements in 12 destinations around the world. They support all their partner hospitals financially, as well as by donating essential medical equipment to ensure key departments are operating as well as they can.

It will be an incredible experience to support local professionals and observe how they overcome challenges, which I'd imagine are very different to those of the NHS!
