I am fundraising to pay for my new Cheer Uniform which costs £170+. I am hoping to reach this and more, with any extra going to charity.

I am going to do this by swimming the length of the English Channel (22 miles) in 12 weeks starting on the 1st of September 2016.
I have worked this out as 140 lengths of my local pool every week!

I work full time, I coach cheer and dance on the side as well as participate in it too so this will be a challenge for me to have time to do this.

I am also setting this challenge for myself because I am constantly trying to lose weight and get fit battling against my hypothyroidism which is caused by Hashimoto's. This affects me in many ways including tiredness, muscle fatigue, nerve pain, mental health issues and hormonal ups and downs.
I am hoping that swimming this amount per week will help me lose weight, get fit and help me feel confident in my own body again.
