I have been selected to represent the East Grinstead District for the Scout Association "2019 World Scout Jamboree" being held in North America.

The event incorporates both an amazing opportunity for me to visit North America, but also will include a number of events aimed at helping the local Scouting communities were we will be based.

I am proud to be part of this activity, as feel this will enable me to hopefully help some people who are less fortunate than myself.

In order to be able to take part, I need to fund raise £2,645.

I have taken part in a number of volunteer led activities throughout 2018 and 2019 to fund raise for this event, including; Taking part in the Hever Castle 2.5km open water swim event on the 22nd September 2018, Cake sales, running a popcorn stall at our local carnival, hosting a Quiz night, Easter raffles and other group led community events.

So far, I have successfully fundraised just over £2,000 towards this event.
