I've raised £3000 to help stage a COVID Memorial/Sing out Strong Reunion Concert.

SOS was set up as a safe place where people could come and sing for their wellbeing, and also could be open about their mental health or if they were just having a bad day. We include mental health and wellbeing in everything we do at SOS and, when the pandemic shut everything down, we switched to running free, online sessions available to anyone and everyone around the world. We’ve since worked on 7 projects with 11k singers in 100 countries and last month we were featured on the BBC.
We have just announced that in 2022 we will be hosting the first ever SOS Reunion Concert, which will be a COVID Memorial for all the loved ones we have lost.
The concert will take place in person, in Hereford Cathedral, Hereford, England, and we are inviting anyone who has ever sung with us (in person or online) to come and join our choir. It's a chance to meet other singers from around the world who have joined their voices in song throughout the pandemic, and to celebrate the truly global feel of music, and Sing out Strong.
We will run online rehearsals from February 2022 to start putting the music together and then hold one exciting masterclass rehearsal on the day, where the choir will be taught by SOS Founder Emma Rowland and guest conductor Lorilee Bajema from the USA.
The concert will feature all of the pieces we've sung in our online virtual choir this year - plus a few surprises and our virtual choir videos will be played on a big screen behind the choir while we sing
