    Story

In 2015 SoSlam received funding from Southend Arts Council to turn the original songs, created for the monthly Battlelines nights we run, into an album. The funding paid for professional studio time for 12 of the musicians, professional mastering of their song, digital release on music platforms (iTunes, Spotify, Deezer etc) and a CD release. Since then we have continued our Battlelines nights and have accumulated over 30 more original songs that we would like to treat in the same professional manner and created album Vol.2 and Vol.3. We are hoping that a lot of people will just give a little to help us fund our project and be part of supporting and developing original local music in the Southend-on-sea area.
