Story
This year, I’m walking a series of 50 km as part of a community hike www.ultrachallenge.com/ — and I’ve been given permission to fundraise alongside it.
I’m raising money for a new initiative that is very close to my heart:
✨ The Circle of Care Project
A community-powered wellbeing loop connecting:
Grandmas who knit
Dogs in rescue
Neurodivergent, deaf, and sensory-sensitive individuals
And Soundara, my wellbeing practice
Your support will be split 50/50 between:
🐾 Yarn for Paws Fund — buying yarn for grandmas who knit items that raise money for dog rescue
🎵 Soundara Community Wellbeing Fund — offering free and subsidised sound sessions for grandmas and neurodivergent/deaf/sensory individuals
Many people with sensory sensitivities, ADHD, autism, or communication differences find deep emotional grounding and companionship through dogs. Rescue dogs, in turn, thrive when placed in calm, understanding homes.
By supporting both the Yarn for Paws Fund and the Soundara Community Wellbeing Fund, we’re creating a gentle circle of care:
Grandmas knit items that raise money for dog rescue 🧶
Charities like Acres Way help dogs find safe, loving homes that could become life partners to grandmas or neurodivergent people 🐶🐩
Soundara supports the wellbeing of grandmas and neurodivergent/deaf/sensory individuals through accessible sound sessions 👵👨❤️👨
It’s one ecosystem of compassion — humans supporting dogs, and dogs supporting humans.
No funds go to me personally.
This is a community initiative, not a commercial activity.
If you’d like to support this circle of care, follow the giving link.
Thank you for helping me start this new chapter with purpose 👍 and heart ♥️.
Campaign valid between 17th of March and 30th of June 2026.
