I've raised £500 to buy microwaves and slow cookers for South Petherton Foodshare! £16 buys us a slow cooker, saving hundreds of pounds on energy bills.

South Petherton Foodshare started in 2020, and during the first year we saved and shared around £10,000 worth of fresh food. When local shops tightened their waste strategies, we moved to setting up a mini foodbank that is open 7 days a week. We want there to always be something on the shelves here at the Foodshare, so we also welcome donations to top up the food and toiletries when the shelves get bare. Whilst we make a point to meet and get to know as many people as possible, there are no pre-requisites or referrals needed. Everyone in need is welcome.
