I've raised £200 to support Southampton Children's Hospital Therapy Department

In September 2016, my older sister broke a bone in her foot whilst playing football. It was a simple fracture but after a few months, her foot became more painful and swollen, because she had developed a rare condition called CRPS. CRPS, or complex regional pain syndrome, is a condition that affects the central nervous system and which leaves her in constant, intense pain. It has been over a year and her condition has had a dramatic impact on her life. Even now she cannot walk, and struggles with normal daily activities like wearing a sock.
Since January 2017, she has been receiving treatment from Southampton Children Hospital, from a team of experts, who have shown so much care and compassion to help her get better. She's having many different types of treatment including hydrotherapy and physiotherapy at the hospital, and uses a variety of different equipment in her rehabilitation.
My friend and I would like to raise money for the Children's Therapy department at the hospital as there are many other children having treatment for a variety of chronic conditions. The money will go towards providing additional resources for the Therapy team and will help other children in similar life-changing situations. Please donate to make a difference to someone's life!
