I've raised £1500 to purchase non-perishable essential food, & personal hygiene items for those who at this time of crisis (Covid19 pandemic) are at risk

South Central Community Transport (SCCT), based in the heart of Liverpool 8, recently took the decision to offer a new range of measures to help residents city wide deal with the impact of the coronavirus.
To date our Charity has delivered 900+ food and hygiene parcels to people throughout the Liverpool Area who are at risk or self isolating at home and are unable to get vital supplies. We have been able to do this because of how our Community has pulled together and provided us with volunteer support, food and hygiene products and cash donations. We were initially hoping to raise £3000 but realised that a lot of people as well as self isolating are experiencing financial hardship and as a Charity we had to rethink this amount in order to not deter anyone from making a small contribution to our fund because of the unrealistic target.
Therefore, we are hoping to raise £1,500.00 to continue this service once per fortnight until we are unable to do so financially or until we can return to some sense of normality, as we realise many vulnerable residents and families will still be isolating, or may feel anxious or simply unable to obtain vital supplies.
We are also offering a twice weekly telephone check up service for any person who may just need a friendly voice to share any worries or concerns. To find out more or access our services, please contact us on 0151 703 0007 or email us at wma03@outlook.com
In the meantime please all keep safe and well and thank you in advance for support in this vital service.
